Safety Technology
The enjoyment of driving is also borne on peace of mind regarding the inherent safety of a vehicle. Underwriting the great feeling of driving Hyundai vehicles is the knowledge that they meet or exceed world safety standards.

The design and engineering of Hyundai vehicles includes many obvious and not so obvious inclusions that combine to produce some of the world’s safest vehicles. Ranging from large components such as chassis design through to the minute such as a seat belt chime, all aspects of safety combine to maximise total safety for drivers and passenger in Hyundai vehicles. Too numerous to comprehensively mention, some key safety technologies can be summarised in terms of Active Safety and Passive Safety.

Performance Technology
Hyundai is continuously developing and advancing technologies to provide the ultimate in driving performance in terms of enjoyment, efficiency and durability.

With this in minds all Hyundai models contain various elements that are at the forefront of design and functionality.

Environmental Technology
Hyundai is placing increasing emphasis on the R&D of new environmentally compatible technologies in support of its environmental initiatives. Focus has been placed on technologies to reduce exhaust emissions and to enhance recycling efficiency of end of life vehicles.

To achieve these objectives Hyundai focuses on the development of low emission and zero emission technologies such as Hybrid Electric Power-train and fuel cell.

Furthermore Hyundai has been researching on development of eco-friendly materials to eliminate the potential release of hazardous substances from vehicles.

Hyundai has also adopted cleaner production technologies in manufacturing to prevent and/or minimise impacts to the environment.
