Record owner satisfaction gives Sonata first-ever President's Award

Hyundai Motor Company’s all-new Hyundai Sonata has been awarded the first-ever President’s Award by North American automotive consulting firm AutoPacific.

AutoPacific researched satisfaction ratings collected from 975 drivers of the all-new Sonata over 48 separate categories ranging from the basics of comfort and convenience, to performance and environmental friendliness.

The results were outstanding, with Sonata receiving magnificent reviews and much praise from the group, exceeding the expectations of AutoPacific, and setting new benchmarks for customer satisfaction.

With a final score of 775 from a possible 1000, the Sonata’s unique styling was rated as close to perfect and was a key influence in its overall superior performance and owner approval rating. The score of 775 has never before been achieved in any product category in the history of the AutoPacific survey, prompting the organisation to create the award in recognition of this outstanding achievement.
